![🌍 Thank you for being part of Plastic Free July! 💚
Whether you joined us at the library, Briar Patch, or are just catching up, we’re grateful to share this movement and useful resources with you. See link in bio for event handouts/resources.
🙏 Huge thanks to our incredible speakers:
🔬 Dr. Kenneth Moore – *Plasticosis: A Threat to Life on Earth*
⚕️ Dr. Thomas Kanomata – *Microplastics & Human Health*
🐟 Emily Wilson (SYRCL) – *Plastic’s Impact on the Yuba River*
🌱 Sasha Scott – *Briar Patch’s Packaging & Sustainability Efforts*
Participants brought thoughtful questions, inspiring ideas, and a shared passion to reduce plastic waste. Let’s keep that momentum going year-round! 🌱

🧭 And one more important step—
The timing is perfect to take action for a global solution:
The UN Global Plastics Treaty negotiations (Aug 4–15 in Geneva) are happening NOW.
We're joining **Break Free From Plastic** to demand a strong treaty.
📨 Tell your rep to support bold action against plastic pollution:

💪Together, we *can* build a future free from plastic pollution.
In solidarity to reduce single-use plastics, 💚 The WasteNOT-Plastic Team
